Authoritative DNS
We will always recommend using GratisDNS.dk for DNS, its a full featured DNS host.
But sometime you just need a DNS to answer for a domain, right now, with an empty record, just for transfer, registration or whatever reason (going blank).
We do not have an app for that, but we do have an service for that 🙂
It’s very useful for eg .de, .fo or .is domain registrations, where nameservice need to be operational when you register the domain name, and be separated from one /24 ipv4 range.
You can call it “fake Authoritative DNS”, it just serves a blank zone, no A records, no MX records, and you can create zones by two simple http calls (one for each nameserver).
We will not guarantee that we will serve the zone more than needed (typical less than 24 hours), but in reality, we do not delete anything.

It will INSTANTLY start to answer the zone with valid DNS (no dnssec!).
